If all can self-evacuate, here are some ideas:

– all main doors to suites and stairwells have a functioning self-closing device and can latch

– smoke alarms in sleeping rooms. CO alarm alarms as per 2.16 of the Code (assume residential)

– fire safety plan updated, reviewed and approved.

– ensure that check/test/inspect on all existing fire and lift safety equipment (fire alarm system, sprinkler system, fire extinguishers, emergency lights, generator, fire pump etc) is current and compliant with the Fire Code.

We had explored that model also. Given the state of the economy, it may be difficult to go direct to the business community or through a third party such as Community Safety Net to find advertisers. Just keeping options open right now.
