Greetings everyone, hope you’ve had an enjoyable summer!

Our next quarterly OMFPOA Chapter Meeting will be held:

Date: Wednesday September 6th, 2017

Time: 1000 to 1500

Location: 617 Louisa Street, Tweed, Ontario (it is beside the arena)

Lunch: $10.00 p/person (receipts provided) Roast beef w/wo a bun with salads and baked potato and dessert.

Parking: Free parking available.

Presentations: Sgt. Scott Parker of the OPP will be speaking on Dangerous Goods Protocols for our major highways.

David Slauson of CN Rail will be in attendance and speaking on Dangerous Goods from a Rail perspective.

These gentlemen are very well qualified and very experienced in their field. Therefore, we are opening up our FPO Chapter meeting in September to Fire Chiefs – Deputies – Training Officers – designated Suppression Officers as this topic is very relevant to Suppression with regards to Dangerous Goods – spills – leaks – fires along rail and roadways and derailments etc.
