NFPA 1031 FIRE INSPECTOR II

  • September 26-30, 2016
  • Grimsby Regional Training Centre โ€“ 261 Ontario St., Grimsby
  • 5 day course
  • 08:30-16:30
  • Cost – $250 (plus tax)
  • Coffee, cold drinks, snacks and lunch provided each day
  • Exam Date: September 30, 2016

This 5 day course is designed to teach students to apply the concepts and skills of a fire inspector.ย  Students learn about the plans review process; investigating complaints; occupancy classification; occupant load calculations for multi-use occupancies; recognizing and evaluating fire hazards; recommend policies and procedures for delivery of inspection services; inspection process that involves new and existing occupancies for construction, occupancy and fire protection.ย  This course meets NFPA 1031 โ€“ 2009 Edition.

 

Prerequisites: Legislation, NFPA 472 Hazardous Material Awareness, NFPA 1031 Fire Inspector 1, Fire Code Div. B Part 2 and 6 Fire Safety Fire Protection Equipment, Courtroom Procedures and Fire Code Division B Part 9 Retrofit.

 

An IFSAC / ProBoard certificate will be issued with the successful completion of the written exam and submission of practical skills booklet that meets all requirements for this course.

All required textbooks and pre-class materials are the responsibility of the student.
