ParticipantI am just wondering if any of you who are involved in fire investigations use any form of accelerant detection? Electronic detectors? I am trying to research cost and availability for our department as we are in the early stages of considering a purchase of one. I have only found two so far and the details aren’t great online. Grace Industries apparently has/had one and I found another link under KWJ Engineering.
Do any departments in Ontario use accelerant sniffing dogs or use police dogs for this purpose?
If anyone uses any technology or methods for accelerant detection they would like to share, please do.
