Darren, Dave and Mat………THANKS!! i appreciate everyones assistance with this topic. I understand the requirement (I want to believe I do) for our note taking requiremensts, municiaply/city retention bylaws, OGs/SPOs however I find it hard to find the “happy medieum”, the ”
best practice” and or “industry standard” and thats is why I aske the question. Wouldnt it be nice if we hard similair requirements as the police? At least that way we knew what was required of us and our credability wouldnt be questions. Training also plays an important part, but we first need to identify our form of note taking. Great conversation for sure and I hope we can keep this going, and get more involved to talk about the various issues we face.

Why re-invent the wheel!
