Overview of Training: Dust Hazard Awareness and Dust Explosibility Testing

The training session will focus on identification of combustible dust hazards and mitigation strategies across various industries. Attendees will learn about dust explosion incidents, applicable standards, codes and regulations, dust hazard identification, prevention and mitigation, dust hazard analysis methodology, and dust sample collection and testing methods.

Presenter bio:
Parker MacNeil is a Professional Engineer who brings a wealth of expertise and experience to his role as a Lead Engineer with Jensen Hughes. His work is focused on industrial process safety and primarily revolves around conducting combustible dust hazard analyses (DHAs), hazardous area classifications (HACs), explosion control system design reviews, and combustible dust explosibility testing. Parker has eight years of experience working in combustible dust across various industries including wood and forestry products, food manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, and combustible metals.
