ULC 2018-05 Bulletin announced that it would be withdrawing ULC/ORD-C263 which OBC 3.1.8.18. allows sprinkler protected glazed wall assembly’s (window sprinkler system) to be constructed to serve as a fire separation with a FRR of no more than two hours. ULC has recently taken action to develop a new standard and have the subject ORD reinstated on an interim basis as of December 15, 2018  until the development of the new standard.  Additional details are available on this website in the Members Area under Fire Inspection & Enforcement – CAN ULC.
