We are excited to announce the next OMFPOA  Chapter 11 meeting on Feb 2 from 9am-12pm at  the County of Brant Fire Department 61 Dundas St E, Paris ON (519-449-3300 x4409).  All OMFPOA members are welcome to attend via Microsoft Teams.

Our guest speakers for the day are two representatives from the TSSA.

Jason Pilon from the TSSA is going to be sharing with us:

  1. what is the role of the TSSA
  2. what things do they regulate
  3. when we should be calling them
  4. what number we should be calling
  5. other contact information

The second part of his presentation will be dealing specifically with food truck inspections. What does the TSSA look for when they do inspections? What things should we be looking for? When should we report things that don’t look right but a contractor has signed off on it?

After the presentation we will be having some general business announcements and then a time for sharing your struggles and joys as an FPO. There are always great tips to learn from our peers.

If you cannot be there in person use the Teams meeting link to join in all of the education and fun. Please share this with any members who might be interested throughout the province. The more the merrier. 😊
