The Ontario Municipal Fire Prevention Officers Association (OMFPOA) is accepting applications from interested Chapters or Fire Departments to step forward as the host venue for our highly anticipated 2025 Annual Symposium. This outstanding annual event gathers fire prevention officers, industry experts, and policymakers from across Ontario to explore the latest advancements in fire safety.

TORONTO – Police are advising restaurant owners to immediately stop using any propane or natural gas kitchen equipment purchased from Kitchen Queen, located at 3001 Markham Rd. in Toronto.
The risks include gas leaks, fire and explosion and carbon monoxide poisoning.
