Start 2023 with Steps to Safety

The first of the 2023 OAFE/OMFPOA Workshop Series with NFPA is happeningโ€ฆ
and weโ€™re thrilled to announce that Laura will be talking about the NEW Steps to Safety program!!

Before we know it, all Baby Boomers will be 65 or older.

Older adults are at greater risk of being injured or dying in a fire. People are living longer and staying in their homes. But as people age, the risk increases.

NFPA has updated and rebranded its fire- and fall-prevention program for older adults. Steps to Safetyโ„ข will launch in the new year.

Join NFPA regional director Laura King for a preview of the new program, including changes, videos, and the theory and development of the revisions. Learn about Steps to Safety messaging and resources, and the new online training program available to your fire department and anyone in your municipality who works with older adults.
