The OMFPOA Executive was very surprised and disappointed to learn of the Ontario Fire College closure announcement last week (English) (French). The OMFPOA has always been a strong supporter and partner of the Ontario Fire College.  Training and development of fire service personnel engaged in public education, inspection & enforcement, building code inspection and fire investigation remains our top priority.  We will continue to seek and support new training opportunities for our membership.
