Limitation Periods

In response to the COVID-19 emergency declared by the Government of Ontario, an emergency order (O. Reg. 73/20 – Limitation Periods) was made suspending limitation periods of legislation in Ontario, including limitation periods associated with the review and appeal processes established under Sections 25 and 26 of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997 (FPPA).

The Limitation Periods order will end and suspended time periods will resume running on September 14, 2020.
