In Halton Hills we use the same type of system as Brantford. Communications will contact a staff investigator from a list. If no one is available, the scene is secured until one is available. There is no obligation for staff to attend, but if they do, it’s time-and-a-half or double time on Sundays.

Hope things are going well up in your neck of the woods. We do have an open-air burning by-law, but we were just thinking about the FSP part as an extra measure for any possible future concerns. Get them with the by-law, open-air not approved and not following provisions of the FSP. Just another option. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

The pits were not approved and charges have been laid. It’s still in the courts as we speak. We were just thinking of having this in the FSP and wanted to know if anyone has done this before. Thanks.

Thanks for responses. The building falls under 9.5 requirements. I did advise that he needs to replace hard-wired with hard-wired. Also advised to replace with smoke/CO combo.
