Currently we provide and install as many smoke alarms as they need. We screw them into either the wall or ceiling in accordance with the manufacturers installation instructions, leave the instructions with them, and have them sign a waiver form.
Our CO policy is going to be that they are required to purchase as many as they need, and fire prevention follows up within one week – there is only of me, so just in case I am on vacation or at the symposium ๐Ÿ™‚
We have a carbon copy form explaining the law regarding CO alarms, they get one copy, fire prevention gets the other.
