Greetings,

Even if we implemented a standard practice of dispatch making radio contact at a prescribed time interval to the investigator as a means of checking in on the worker. As it is not an emergency scene the OHSA applies and there is provisions in it for working alone. After the investigation, where are you placing your gear and equipment? In your vehicle or sealed up in say a tote bin until it is cleaned? What about HCN and CO detection on the investigator during the investigation. It really is time to place some hard and fast standards in what we do.
