The OFMEM has announced the filing of O.Reg. 52/15 on March 11, 2015. Part 1 Offences now cover 41 Fire Code violations related to smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, records, closures and fire extinguishers, in addition to the 5 that were already in place.

Ticketable offences will assist fire departments in enforcing the Ontario Fire Code.
