We are in the process of establishing community contacts in our area in order to ensure that vulnerable members of our population are protected in their homes. The idea is to have support workers who routinely deal with members of our community conduct simple fire safety audits of their client’s home/apartments to ensure basic fire safety is present as well as a working CO/Smoke Alarm.
We are just starting to develop this program and have the Support Worker CD from the OFMEM but would appreciate any assistance or info from anyone who already has such a program in place. Thanking you in advance.
