      Hello All,

When you are manning a Fire Prevention/Pub-ed table at an event does your Department insist on only 1 FPO at a time.

Events such as Sportsmen Show, Home Show, Canada Day, etc.

      Thank You

      John

In Barrie, we always try to have two staff members at the display.

      John,

In Ottawa we try and have 2, but on larger events like the home show (because in incurs overtime) we have overlapping shifts.  10-3 and 12- 7.

It depends on the event.  Canada Day – our busiest event- would require 4 staff, same as a large scale safety day event at a hall.  A normal one-table event would be one staff. If the event was anticipated to be busy or of a longer duration (full day) we would staff accordingly by either having two staff or rotating staff..

We usually have at least 2 at an event with more at larger ones.
