Greater Sudbury Fire Services is looking at updating our process pertaining to Fire Prevention Officer / Fire Inspector Safety during inspections. I’m just wondering how other departments ensure FPO/Inspector safety during inspection? Does anyone have SOG/P&P or Process pertaining to FPO safety during inspections? Do the FPO’s/Inspectors carry portable radios with them during inspections? Do FPO’s inform the Communication Division of their locations during inspections?
