For those that require certification or hours toward recertification, consider attending the Fire Investigations training program facilitated at the state of the art training facility known as FESTI, located at the GTAA in Mississauga. The course runs from September 22-26th, 2014 inclusive.

This program examines in detail the investigative processes and application of NFPA 921 and combines theory and a practical component during the one week program facilitated by veteran trainer and fire investigator Gary Jarrett. Gary will also proctor the CFEI exam from NAFI if you require to be certified.

Gary has been investigating fire within a Municipal Fire Department for over 18 years and takes the learner from the basics of burn pattern analysis, explosion investigations, vehicle fires and how to liaise with the OFM and other attending agencies and other related topics.
