      Hello, I am currently a graduating student at Durham College for fire and life safety. I am looking to continue my education oriented towards fire prevention. I’m hoping someone could provide me some guidance as to where I can complete training to receive the required prerequisites to write the OFM exams for NFPA 1031?

      Completion of the following courses:

      NFPA 1072 (472) HazMat Awareness certificate with IFSAC/Pro Board seal

      Legislation
      Fire Code Div. B, Part 2&9
      Courtroom Procedure
      Fire Code Div. B, Part 9 (Retrofit)

      I am under the impression that only municipal fire department employees can attend the Ontario Fire College.

      Seneca College – The online NFPA 1031 level 1 and 2 registration should be coming out today so  I have been told.
