      Hello everyone,

I have been tasked to look in to what other departments use for PPE (helmet to boots) and respiratory protection for fire investigations.  We currently are using fitted bunker gear and SCBA but are looking to upgrade.  We are also looking at revamping our program and wanted to see how other departments deal with investigations (on-call vs being done on shift only and having scene held until the next day).

We are a smaller composite department and have been asked to prepare our “Wishlist” for investigations.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks

      Derek Hill
