      Does anyone have any experience with property owners using log books like these for their record keeping?

      Yes.

      its a log.  From time in industry in working on equipment, not my preference, however, generally meets requirements

      Yes, generally a good means to evaluate – confirm the building owner is doing their testing and inspections.
