  The OFC says CO detectors must be installed in a residential occupancy if the dwelling unit is adjacent to a service room with a fuel-burning appliance, or a storage garage.
  
  Strip mall, commercial on ground floor, dwelling units on second floor. One of the commercial units is a restaurant with gas appliances. Code does not provide for this. Thoughts?
