The use of the Houkahs is a regular occurrence throughout the day. We do expect to be notified for when work ecetera is being done and there could be false alarms. In this situation they would be calling and advising us everyday which in itself would be problematic.

These are not occasional occurrences, it’s somewhat more that these establishments are set up as the location to do this which is fine.

We do have a bylaw for false alarms, but these weren’t really considered false alarms in the traditional sense.

Good point though on possibly replacing the smokes in these areas with heats.

I will take this forward for comment. Thank-you Karin
