If all can self-evacuate, here are some ideas:

– all main doors to suites and stairwells have a functioning self-closing device and can latch

– smoke alarms in sleeping rooms. CO alarm alarms as per 2.16 of the Code (assume residential)

– fire safety plan updated, reviewed and approved.

– ensure that check/test/inspect on all existing fire and lift safety equipment (fire alarm system, sprinkler system, fire extinguishers, emergency lights, generator, fire pump etc) is current and compliant with the Fire Code.
